First Day of Summer!

Good Morning! It is officially the first day of summer here at the Bennett household. Now our days can be filled with fun, relaxing and scrapping". To help chronicle this summer I am going to create a memory file based on the idea I saw here. Hopefully I will have the start of it to share here next Monday. I would love for you to join me and share your process as well! My plan is to take at least one picture each day to capture our memories of this summer. I am going to be using the papers from the "Hello Summer" collection by Echo Park! I feel these will be the perfect fit for this project!! And guess what? Our giveaway for today features these as well! For your chance to win the "Hello Summer" 6x6 paper pad, leave me a comment here by midnight June 24th and let me know if this idea is something you would like to do too! It is always more fun to share in a project with others as well as motivating too!!

  1. I love the idea and would love to join you but I am just not sure that I would have the time this summer to do it. I look forward to seeing your project.

  2. That's a really cute idea! I'm not much of a mini album or other project kind of person. Good luck on your project, however. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

  14. I've always loved this kind of project. Really neat to see the progress. I've tried doing a photo/layout a day, but the deadlines really don't work for me. Good luck with it!

  15. I think it's a fun idea, but having no kids, it seems like most of the summer days all blend together!

  17. I too would love to do this if I had my dd all summer! I would also need more time! I've always wanted to buy a pack of 6x6 paper and use it for a mini album or cards. I've even heard they can be used for 12x12! I would like the opportunity to try!

  18. I am trying my best to keep up with a 365 scrapbook for this year and that's about as much as I can handle. BUT...if I win the paper I would like to try to do at least 1 or 2 layouts from Summer :)

  19. This sounds like a wonderful project. Unfortunately, my summer days are going to be filled with work. No little ones left at home. I would love to see how yours turns out. Maybe I could scrap the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Always doing something each day at that time of year.

  20. What a wonderful project for the summer. I would love to try this, but my summer is so busy with 3 kids going to camp all at different times and then school starts back up August 1st. Seems like it is going to be a very short summer.
