Giveaway Monday 7/30/12

Good Morning! I hope that the weekend treated you all well! Mine was a great one spent with my family...JUST what I need right now! Besides family time, I also got in just a bit of scrappin'! Yay me! It felt good to play with paper again, and Lord knows that I have a ton of it to get through!! haha! I decided that it would be nice if I could create something to go along with my giveaways each week, to give you all a little look at what you could do with what you may win ya know?!? Here is the layout that I created using a sketch from Kristin Davidson from our Got Talent II contest...

I used some papers from the Crate Paper "Little Boy Blue" collection because I wanted to show that these papers are not just for use with little boys!! Crate Paper has been a huge favorite of mine for a long while so I had to find a way to get these beautiful papers into my scrapbook without having to dig years back for some baby pictures (though I plan to do that too! hee hee ) If you would like to win some of these great papers yourself, please leave a comment here by midnight August 5th, letting me know how you would use them!! I will announce a winner next Monday and speaking of winners...

scrappin_in_AKJuly 23, 2012 4:43 PMmy favorite(s) are the Glitz collections and the My Minds Eye collections

you are the lucky one drawn from last Monday. If you would please send me an email with your mailing information, I will get your prize shipped out to you!

Don't forget that you only have two more days to use promo code  NEWJULY2012  to save 25% off your order. Brand New October Afternoon and MME will be here tomorrow so I have put them on the site as pre-orders so that you could get them with the benefit of this sale!

  5. Love this layout! I would never have thought to buy and use 'baby' papers for grown-ups - thanks for the great idea! I've got lots of boy photos left to scrap - these would be perfect! :-) Great that you found some time to scrap - now this week is my time! :-)

  9. Nice LO, Tammi - love those multicolor tags. I agree about Crate- they have superb collections. I actually hadn't thought of getting these papers because I thought they were too "baby", but just looking at the papers now in your store - the B sides could be used for anything! So I know I could use this to scrap fun layouts about my family. In particular, I have some Easter photos - which of course I haven't scrapped yet (sigh) - that would look great with these colors! :)

  10. Great Layout Tammi.
I am starting to dig into my archived photo's and want to do that once a month. This would get me to scrap those pictures in style.
